It's time for some serious product reviews. I will be sharing my thoughts about two thingsL E.L.F. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black and Natasha Perfect Cover Concealer Stick in Linen.
Take note that while ELF Products are widely available in SM Department Stores and other beauty counters, you can also buy selected ELF beauty supplies from your Natasha dealer. I love going to a Natasha dealer because I can buy on a discount, and I can also sometimes buy on installment. Hihihi!
ELF Waterproof Eyeliner Pen costs P150 while the Natasha Perfect Cover Concealer is P195.
Let's start with the Natasha Perfect Cover Concealer Stick in Linen. There are two other shades: Perfect Caramel and Perfect Beige. I chose Perfect Linen because it is the medium shade. It claims to have Sea Fennel Extract, which is supposed to have skin soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and anti-pollution benefits. Here's how it looks like on the packaging:
And here's how it looked when I swatched it on my hand:
Yup, I'm sure you did not notice the concealer. I actually like that it was the perfect shade for my skin color. However, I did not see any great results when I used Perfect Linen for my under eyes. I used it once only and I was not amazed with the result so I shelved this concealer. Maybe I can find some better use for Perfect Linen some other time.
But I'm not at all disappointed with my purchase because I still have this ELF Waterproof Eyeliner Pen which really really amazed me big time. See how it looks uncapped:
Soft pen which glides smoothly on skin. If you're frustrated to know how to do winged eyes (or CAT Eyes), then let me introduce you to your new best friend. ELF Waterproof Eyeliner Pen is the answer to your winged eyeliner dreams. When I attempted to wing my eyes using this liner, would you believe that I almost had a perfect winged tip? This eyeliner pen is so easy to use, I promise, and I guarantee that you will be able to create that nice and perfect winged eyes even with your inexperienced hands. I love this product!
Just a caution, though: The cap of the pen is not so secure so it's best to leave it at home, inclined, with the tip on the bottom, don't put it in your bag lest you run the risk of uncapping the pen unintentionally and unconsciously and you'd end up with a dry eyeliner pen. I have experienced dry spells with this eyeliner because of my stubbornness and I've had to let my eyeliner pen bleed a few times and it was bad for the its tip. This is waterproof but it cleanses off easily with water and soap.
Next time you're ready to test your makeup skills and want to sport sexy cat eyes, don't forget to use this Elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen!
