Last April, I was in UP Diliman for a series of trainings and seminars related to my profession. Since I was in Quezon City, I grabbed the chance of visiting the Human Heart Nature Flagship store during one lunch break. It was quite a challenge for me to go there because I used the jeepney. The Human Heart Nature flagship store is not very far from UP Diliman and it would take you less than 10 minutes to get there, but the challenge is in boarding the right jeepney. I needed 2 rides: first ride will be the jeepney that would take me to what they locally call as PhilCOA, and then the next jeepney that would take me to the flagship store. The flagship store is just along Commonwealth Avenue and its main landmark is the footbridge right after Feria Avenue.
I sent a message to HN's facebook page and they promptly sent me this location map:
So here are some of the photos I took during my visit:
Above is my favorite section of the flagship store, and probably my favorite section in every Human Nature Distribution Center. I love how the flagship store has this dresser complete with a stool and a very large mirror for you to do your own makeup using none other than the Mineral Makeup Line. It's located near a window so it has natural lighting and did you know that it is recommended to do your makeup under natural lighting?
There's this wall featuring other social enterprises that Human Heart Nature is supporting. The concept is really Filipino. The Isabel Rag Doll, Kape Maria, Kape de Sug, Theo and Philo Chocolates, and Bayani Brew are among the familiar products to me because they are available in Davao City. But what caught my attention are the bags which are locally produced here in the Philippines.
The Bambu Bag and the red bag from Jacinto & Lirio has really got me drooling. Unfortunately, these items are not for sale at the Human Heart Nature flagship store but are only available for display. If you want these items you can either directly contact the social enterprise or visit their website.
So that was my little escapade at the Human Heart Nature flagship store. Hopefully I would be able to visit other Human Heart Nature distribution centers in other cities and will make it a habit to take snapshots of my visits.
