Globe Tattoo Brings Christmas at Home with Bamboo

ROCK ICON BAMBOO has partnered with Globe Tattoo Home Broadband in a benefit concert that aims to raise more than 1,000 toys which will be given to the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). This special concert dubbed as BELIEVE: Christmas at Home with Bamboo, will be held at the Music Museum on December 20, 2013.

This concert is also a part of Bamboo’s response to the survivors of super typhoon 'Yolanda' that ravaged Central Visayas two weeks ago. I would like to impart my heartfelt support and prayers to our kababayans in the Visayas thru music and thru this concert. Let the spirit still inspire us to help others especially the children, and to believe that there is hope for our country.”

Here's how we can help share hope and love this Christmas season: we can either buy toys at Ticketworld to get tickets for this concert or we can also post an Instagram video message to donate a toy. Please read below for details:

  1. BUY TOYS AT TICKETWORLD TO GET BAMBOO CONCERT TICKETS. Yes, you read it right, you only need to purchase the kinds of toys that you want to give to Yolanda survivors this Christmas and these toys will have a corresponding ticket at Music Museum for Bamboo's benefit concert on Dec. 20. You can choose among the toys costing P400, P600, and P700 per pair. If you're excited to buy these toys for the children who need to feel that they are loved, go to bit.ly/TattooUnwrapHope.
  2. If you can't make it to the concert, you can simply POST AN INSTAGRAM VIDEO of your messages and Christmas song covers, greetings, and whatever you want that could uplift the spirit of our dear kababayans who were affected by Typhoon Yolanda. Your IG video will be equivalent to a toy donation which will be given by TATTOO HOME in your behalf. It's important that you tag @ChooseTattoo and use the hashtag #UnwrapHope to make your entry valid. Globe will make a reply within 2 hours to let you know if your entry is validated. Instagram videos should be in by December 17 so let's hurry and post our messages of hope and inspiration today!
I'm so glad that the Filipino people are one in helping Central Visayas recover from the devastation that Yolanda has brought. We need to help our people, and helping does not stop after giving one thing. I have personally seen the efforts of family members and friends who have not only sympathized with the Yolanda survivors but have also gave best efforts in bringing hope and love to the survivors. I'm glad that Globe has been so active in providing assistance and in the rehabilitation efforts of Central Visayas. This makes me a proud Globe user!

And what makes me even more proud is that Globe has partnered with one of the companies that I truly trust, Gawad Kalinga. For this benefit concert:
All the toys that will be collected will be for the benefit of the children of Tattoo’s adopted Gawad Kalinga Village and surrounding communities in Brgy. Tambulilid, Ormoc, Leyte.
The Tattoo Village is part of Globe Telecom’s Bangon Pinoy program, an enterprise-wide disaster response initiative that aims to have a unified system for donations, relief efforts, and corporate social responsibility programs across products and services. It is an integrated program that allows communities devastated by calamities to benefit from various efforts geared towards rebuilding and rehabilitation. It was first introduced by Globe in 2009 after typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng wreaked havoc in the country.

Proceeds from the show “BELIEVE: Christmas @ Home with Bamboo” will support in part typhoon Yolanda survivors. The concert will be on December 6 and December 20, 2013 at the Music Museum presented by Tattoo in cooperation with Lenovo, a production of iCreate Entertainment Solutions Inc. For ticket information, you may call Ticket World at 891-9999 or visit www.ticketworld.com.ph.
