Taking care of your makeup brushes does not only mean keeping them clean by regular washing. Aside from washing your brushes with gentle shampoo or baby wash, you can prolong the life of your brush by using brush guards.
A brush guard may be made of plastic material which will protect your brushes especially when you keep it inside your bag. If your brushes are bare-naked, there is a possibility that it will get dirty by contact to other elements or things in your bag, there is also a risk that the delicate hair of your makeup brushes would get tousled and unruly if you do not protect them property. Aside from the protection it gives, the brush guard will also help maintain the shape of your brushes.
When the hype about brush guards started, I was tempted to buy the 5-piece set for $5. There are other brush guard brands that are as pricey at $20. Glad I found a kind of brush guard that is sold per meter, one meter of this brush guard is already good for 5 to 6 pieces of face brushes, depending on how long you want each brush guard be. I got this brush guard for only P100 per meter, it is such a great deal!
This is a good product to prolong the life span of your brushes as well as protects from exposure of dirt.
