KRAVE MINERALE COSMECEUTICALS: Indulge to What Your Skin Craves

In my quest to go organic, I recently tried organic skin care using Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals. My switch was prompted by my advocacy to look for safe and effective brands that an average Filipina can afford.

Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals has a skin-feeding routine based on your specific skin conditions. Mine is acneic-oily and this is the skin-feeding routine for me:

I have only been using Cupine Aloepa Facial Wash and Anti-Zit Splash, along with the Fruittie Poreless Toner Spray (not in photo). I introduced the products gradually.

On the first day, I switched my old facial wash (from another brand) with the Cupine Aloepa facial wash. So basically, I used my new facial wash, together with my old toner and old moisturizer. This went on for 3 days. I noticed that the big breakout that I had from using my old facial scrub has calmed. Cupine Aloepa facial wash is also very gentle, and it doesn't give me the squeaky-clean feel.

On the fourth day, I switched my old toner for the Fruittie Poreless Toner Spray (FPT). It was my first time to use the Fuittee Poreless Toner Spray and I wasn't very comfortable with it at first. Since the FPT did not have any instructions on its label on how to use the product, after spraying, I would wipe the toner on my face using a cotton pad but this did not do any good: cotton fibres would stick to my skin. I figured that after spraying 2 or 3 times, I just need my fingertips (I only use my ring and middle fingers) to massage and spread the product on my entire face and let my skin absorb it. I love the effect of the FPT because it makes my pores, specially on the nose and cheeks, look smaller without the tight feeling.

I continued using the FPT for a week, with the Cupine Aloepa facial wash and still with my old moisturizer. After a week, I switched using the Anti-Zit Splash. The anti-zit splash is like your regular toner: you put some product in a cotton pad and wipe your face with it. Honestly, I'm more comfortable using the Anti-Zit splash than the FPT. The Anti-Zit splash has helped me clear the big nasty zits in my nose and chin after a week of continued use but I've noticed that the small bumps on my forehead are still there. These tiny bumps on my forehead might have been caused by my hair products or could also be an allergic reaction. They're not noticeable but irritatingly, I know that they are there...

Right now, I am not ready to try the Panacea Olio Nutriente although I have one in stock. From the reviews that I have read, some people have experienced a "purging stage" where pimples would actually come out and become worse. I am afraid of the purging stage although I doubt that I would experience it since I have been using organic skin care from another brand before I switched to Krave. For now, my skin may not be perfect but I'm happy with it. I might try the Moisture Souffle Night Cream once my old moisturizer runs out.

  5. Oh, Davao is too far! How I wish that I could have one for me. I need that coz my skin is prone to acne especially in the chin part. That is the only and favorite part of my pimples. They grow there everytime! lol.
