Stila Pressed Powder

At the price of P995.00 for 9grams of product, I could have fainted! This is the most expensive pressed powder that I have ever purchased.

It gives a very sheer coverage, and it doesn't give me a white cast on my face. I like using this powder because it is EXCELLENT in oil control. It doesn't cake, is not very transferable, weightless on my skin and is a perfect match for my skin tone (maybe because it's sheer that's why it doesn't mess up with my skin color). I also like the simple yet feminine packaging.

I don't like the sponge applicator though, too thin and the edge of the sponge hurts specially near the eye area. Pat or blot, don't rub.

The powder itself is durable, in my opinion. I've been using it for two weeks now and the pot of powder still looks like it has never been touched before. I don't think I could repurchase this because it's not available locally. I bought this at Rustan's in Robinson's Manila. Anyhow, I should first evaluate how long this powder will last before I can finish the pot. If it will last me 6 months, then maybe I'll shell out another P995.00 for a second pot. =)

  1. I got my stila from tameraonline.com, but not the powder. Only the palette. I didn't know that Rustan's also offers it.
