Nichido Lipstick is the latest addition in my kikay kit. I bought this lipstick for around P160.00, net of discount, from Robinsons's Department Store last April 13, 2010. I've been using it for quite a few weeks already and I was impressed of how the lipstick glides on smoothly on my lips. It has a generous amount of shea butter which moisturizes your lips so it's never dry. Also, my skin is very picky when it comes to cosmetics. I'm glad to share that I am not allergic to this lipstick. No rashes. This is definitely going to be a staple on my beauty kit.
The packaging looks a little matronly, though, because of its bronze finish but it doesn't bother me at all. The only disadvantage that I've noticed is that the color doesn't stay long in your lips. You need to reapply often (like after a meal, but it's understandable).
The verdict: Nichido lipstick promised silky smooth lips and it delivers!
Product Review: Nichido Eyeshadow
I have used this product only once. Nichido Stardust Eyeshadow in Kiss of Pink. It has a highlighter, base, and contour color.
The colors are really light and it is alright to use it for day use. I would recommend these for students (who aren't supposed to wear make up???).
The verdict: I don't think I'll use it again. I found it hard to blend, and the eyeshadow doesn't give that much color when applied. The applicator isn't that great either, it's hard. Also, there are these sparkling particles which are too big that they look like silver dust on my eyes.
Below is a snapshot of how my eyes looked after I used all the colors of the Nichido Stardust Eyeshadow in Kiss of Pink.

Product Review: Ellana Minerals Cosmetics
In my previous post, I mentioned about getting samples of Ellana Minerals Cosmetics. The samples arrived on time and I was eager and happy to use it.
Now, the samples have been fully consumed and it's time to scribble my Ellana Minerals Cosmetics experience.
Let's begin with the foundation. Ellana Minerals Cosmetics gave me two (2) foundation shades: Macchiato and Caramel, designed specifically for warm skin tone. Macchiato worked wonders for me. The Caramel foundation was a shade lighter than my skin tone. I used it to dust my neck area but not on my face. Note that Ellana Minerals Cosmetics chose the shades and colors of the make-up that was sent to me based on the information I supplied regarding my skin tone.
The Golden Beige concealer was perfect for covering dark circles under my eyes. It's my first time to use powder concealer and I was a little bit surprised that it's easier to use powder concealer in blending. I have previously used stick concealers and worried on how they "caked" on my face when not used properly. I have noticed that Ellana Minerals concealer is very efficient. A little amount provides excellent coverage.
Espresso con Pana finishing powder was also a shade lighter than what I prefer but it worked just fine. I used a kabuki brush in applying the powder all over my face and neck. The powder was the product that was consumed first.
Lust peach pink blush was really really great! It gives me just the right amount of color without the "just-slapped" effect. This blush is perfect for my morena skin. It's just sad that the local Ellana Minerals Cosmetics seller in my city does not have any stock of this blush when I recently inquired.
The verdict: I specifically loved the concealer and the blush and I would definitely buy and recommend these products.

Stay away from fake items.
Check out these marc jacobs handbags. They are on sale up to 42%. These handbags are available on sale for a limited time only so you better hurry and choose among the denim, nylon, and leather handbags collection.
We can't deny that the market is infested today with fake items. Sometimes, I am even tagged by my facebook friends selling replica bags. Some sellers of these fake items even brag that their products are "quad A" or "cannot be easily distinguished from the original." Most products that are highly susceptible to imitation are Louis Vuitton, Coach, and Gucci.
Funny that the most products being imitated are those which are highly-priced. Now, there's a product in the market that is not easily replicated: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Personally, I have not seen a Marc by Marc Jacobs replica for sale. That's a good thing because it means that these Marc by Marc Jacobs products have not lost their integrity.
